On April 9, Prince Philip took his last breath at the age of 99. A disappearance that did not fail to upset the British royal family who thus lost one of their pillars. Four months after his death, the Windsors continue their mourning, still having fond thoughts for the Duke of Edinburgh. They do not hesitate to pay tribute to him as soon as the opportunity arises. This Wednesday, August 11, Prince Charles, visibly in a nostalgic mood, shared on Instagram a sweet memory of his childhood with his parents, Queen Elizabeth II and his late dad Prince Philip.
A superb black and white shot captured 70 years ago in which the Prince of Wales appears as a child, alongside his little sister Princess Anne, playing in the grass under the protective gaze of their parents. “Captured 70 years ago this month, this photo shows The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Charles and Princess Anne enjoying a hot summer day in the garden of Clarence House.” A beautiful archive that has not failed to touch Internet users: “What a beautiful family photo”, “Photo so comforting”, “Beautiful memory”, can we read in the comments.
