Prince Andrew has been quiet for nearly a year and his decision to end “all his public commitments” in November 2019. Only, while he is still suspected in the Epstein affair, the British royal family has made a new decision to preserve its image. Thus, as revealed by The Sun, the Duke of York was not invited to the celebrations which will be organized on the occasion of the 100th birthday of his father, Prince Philip, in June 2021. In order to take all the necessary precautions , and to avoid a new scandal, the British royalty would have asked the organizers of a photo exhibition, planned by The Royal Collection Trust for this anniversary, to avoid any snapshot of Prince Andrew.
“A warning has come from above to downplay Andrew. He will be included as little as possible,” a royal source told the tabloid. “This is not changing the story because it cannot be completely ignored. But it won’t be said about his relationship with the Duke of Edinburgh over the years. This obviously proves difficult because it is his son and that is to minimize his role within the family. ” Since Prince Andrew has been immersed in this affair, he finds himself regularly ousted from photos of the royal family. Last July for example, during the wedding of his daughter, Beatrice of York, he had not appeared in any official snapshot.
Victim accuses Prince Andrew of forced sex
As a reminder, the Duke of York is accused of being involved in the Jeffrey Epstein affair, who is suspected of “sex trafficking” on minors. Virginia Roberts Giuffre, one of the alleged victims of the New York financier, claims she was coerced into having sex with the Duke of York when she was 17.
