Prince Andrew of York, 62, remains the black sheep of the British monarchy. Because of the assault cases Virginia Roberts/Giuffre accused him of, the second son of Queen Elizabeth II of England was stripped of his titles. Prince Andrew no longer enjoys his honorary title of Duke of York. His prestigious military status as Colonel of the Grenadier Guards was also stripped. The brother of Prince Charles tried to recover particularly these two titles, but this privilege was not granted to him.

To emerge from the shadows, the deposed Duke, Prince Andrew of York, has opted for a new strategy, reports the Mirror, on June 13, 2022. The former friend of pedophile Jeffrey Epstein has been removed from his royal duties. Furthermore, although Andrew of York is still a Knight of the Order of the Garter, he was not allowed to appear in public during the last annual procession of the order. According to The Mirror, Prince Andrew would try to “push for Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie to be full members of the royal family”.

Thus, the dad of princesses Beatrice and Eugenie of York would like his two daughters to be entrusted with more missions and official roles. Beatrice of York and Eugenie of York have so far only made rare royal engagements. “Princess Béatrice works for a software company and Princess Eugenie is the director of an art gallery. Their father would like them to be better highlighted”, specifies the magazine Gala.
