New twist in Prince Andrew’s affair. While the Queen’s son awaits trial against Virginia Giuffre, who accuses him of sexual assault, his ex-companion has decided to speak up. He spoke on Saturday, January 1 to the Sunday Mirror to give his version of the facts.
At the 18-year-old then, Anthony Figueroa was dating Virginia Giuffre and thought the latter was simply Jeffrey Epstein’s masseuse. He explained that his girlfriend told him that she was “scared” by what the sex criminal and Ghislaine Maxwell wanted her to do with Prince Andrew. He explained to the Sunday Mirror: “I remember the first time Virginia mentioned him in 2001. She knew she would meet him and said she knew what they wanted her to do with him and that she didn’t want to do it.
Anthony Figueroa: “Prince Andrew has to face the case”.
Today, Anthony Figueroa has agreed for the first time to testify and to position himself as a key witness in the sexual assault case. He explained that his relationship with Virginia Giuffre lasted 18 months, between 2000 and 2001 and that this affair was largely responsible for his breakup with the young woman, then aged 17. He explained of the trial: “Being a member of the royal family doesn’t make any difference. Prince Andrew has to face the case.”
Queen Elizabeth II’s son is currently in turmoil. Indeed, his lawyers had failed to gather evidence indicating that he was “unable to sweat” and that he was in a pizzeria on the day of the facts.
