Kaylin Fiengo’s family is inconsolable. Mother of a one-year-old son, the 18-year-old young woman was coldly shot. According to the police, she was found dead of a bullet in the head in her car, which was still running, in Sanford, Florida, on November 11. The body of Kaylin Fiengo, who was thirteen weeks pregnant at the time, was found by a police officer on patrol taken aback by the engine of the young mother’s vehicle which was still running while it was stationary. According to the first elements of the investigation, Kaylin Fiengo is in Florida to meet someone she knew and her murder would be “an isolated incident”.
The exact circumstances of Kaylin Fiengo’s murder are currently under investigation by Florida police. “Sanford Police are investigating a homicide that occurred late Friday night, city police wrote. 9th Street, found a backed-up vehicle in a parking spot that appeared to be moving.As the officer approached the vehicle, they located a white female, later identified as Kaylin Fiengo, in the driver’s seat of the vehicle, died of an apparent gunshot wound.”
A call for witnesses launched
Kaylin’s father, Ricky Fiengo, described his daughter as “a fun-loving, happy, funny and go-getter teenager”. “It’s insane. It’s so insane,” he said of his horrific murder, adding he hopes his daughter’s killer is caught. “He needs to be put on trial so I can close this part and start another part of the healing process,” he continued, devastated by his daughter’s death. The local police chief has appealed for witnesses. “The absurdity of this type of violence is infuriating. Kaylin was a young mother who had her whole life ahead of her, reacted Cecile Smith. This violence and this destruction will not be tolerated in our community. I am convinced that our residents will work with us to find the person responsible for Kaylin’s death.”
