Philippe Bouvard is doing well. At 91, the former boss of the “Big Heads” survived Covid-19 and did not hesitate to be vaccinated a third time in order to beat the disease. As he confided in the columns of Soir Mag, it was on October 21, 2021 that he took the plunge. After being tested positive between two confinements, the media man did not develop any serious symptoms but still suffered many consequences. “The sense of smell is gradually returning, but the taste is still uncertain, which prevents me, for the moment, from continuing to play the gastronomes”, entrusted Philippe Bouvard with humor.
As he clarified, it was at the casino that Philippe Bouvard caught the Covid-19. And according to him, he escaped the worst. “Asymptomatic, I escaped the risk of a fatal outcome that infection poses to people over 90 years old,” he said. During the illness, the former presenter of RTL thus made arrangements to meet as few people as possible. For two weeks, Phlippe Bouvard therefore remained in his room without receiving any other visit than that of Toutou, his companion. “More tired than usual”, the husband of Colette however reassured by specifying that he had “lived normally”. More fear than harm.
Philippe Bouvard releases “We will remember it”
Note that Philippe Bouvard was vaccinated the day of the release of his new work entitled “We will remember” (Ed. Archipel). In the latter, he looks back on the black year 2021 marked by the health crisis. He thus delivers his “humoristic-polemic relation of our viral ordeal” and takes a biting look at the political management of the crisis.
