As the Mirror explains, Phil Collins’ health began to deteriorate when he injured a vertebra while onstage due to poor posture behind his drums while touring the band. in 2007. This injury then affected his hands, and thus his ability to play. As a result, he had to be operated on several times. According to the tabloid, Phil Collins has suffered from serious back problems for all these years.
A future tour in 2021?
In September 2019, Phil Collins suffered a fall. While in the middle of a concert in Charlotte, North Carolina, the singer lost his balance and fell backwards from his wheelchair.
