Mino Raiola is a leading agent in the world of football. He represents several of the greatest players like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Marco Verratti, Erling Haaland or Paul Pogba. Designated in 2020 by Forbes as the 4th most powerful agent in the world of sport, the Italian has recently experienced health problems.
On January 12, 2022, the 54-year-old man was urgently hospitalized in Milan, due to a lung disease, unrelated to covid-19. He was then placed in intensive care. In recent weeks, his condition has deteriorated. On Thursday, April 28, Italian media widely reported the news of his death. Journalist Tancredi Palmeri reportedly reported the news before it was shared by Tuttosport, La Repubblica and La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Mino Raiola denies his own death on social networks
Following the announcement of the death of Mino Raiola, his relatives first denied the information. A representative of Paul Pogba’s agent confided in the Dutch media NOS to say that the man was still alive. For his part, José Fortes Rodriguez, the right arm of Mino Raiola declared that he was simply “in bad shape”.
Finally, Mino Raiola silenced all the rumors by speaking from his Twitter account. He wrote: “Current medical condition, for those wondering: furious, second time in four months that they have killed me. They also seem capable of resurrecting.” The footballers’ agent, who negotiated the transfer of Paul Pogba in 2016 to Manchester United for more than 105 million euros, is determined not to be defeated. The next few days could be decisive on his state of health.
Current health status for the ones wondering: pissed off second time in 4 months they kill me. Seem also able to resuscitate.
