Paul McCartney is a singer who needs no introduction, whose career makes more than one dream. Member of the group The Beatles whose success has been planetary, the singer of 78 years is a regular on the scene. Interviewed for the Smartless podcast on November 25, he made some revelations that will certainly make more than one laugh. Indeed, the famous artist needs the help of a teleprompter to “not forget the lyrics of the songs”, he explains. He admitted to being distracted sometimes during his performances: “Sometimes I go and sing a song, like Eleanor Rigby or something, and I start to think, Oh, what am I going to eat for dinner?” . Thus, the precious teleprompter is there to remind him of the lyrics of the song he is performing but also not to lose the thread. So it would seem that the singer is a normal person, with blackouts and who, despite being famous, has kept his feet on the ground. “I know I’m very famous, but I don’t feel like walking down the street thinking I am,” he explained. This is the reason why Paul McCartney refuses to take pictures with his fans. However, he said he was happy to stop by to chat with them.
Unforeseeable production delays have forced the release date of Paul’s all-new all-Paul album ‘McCartney III’ to be moved back one week to December 18, 2020. Thank you to everyone for your patience, support and excitement for the album. We can’t wait for you to hear it! – MPL

A new album soon
Paul McCartney had not planned to release an album in 2020 but rather to go on tour. It was canceled because of the confinement but the singer was however very productive and took the opportunity to compose new music. The album was recorded in Sussex in the south of England, where the former Beatles was confined. It will therefore be the successor to Egypt Station released in 2018 and will be titled McCartney III. Its release was scheduled for December 11 but following a production delay, Paul McCartney announced to his fans on his Twitter account that it will finally be released on December 18. Only a few more weeks before discovering this new opus.
