The Duchess let out a rant

Some have described her as tyrannical while others see her as an overbearing woman. Often singled out for her character, Meghan Markle has agreed to respond to her detractors. In the latest episode of her Archetypes podcast, the Duchess of Sussex readily described herself as “peculiar” but dismissed the criticism outright. “Telling people what you need doesn’t make you demanding,” she repeated. Accused by ex-employees, who have even gone so far as to file a complaint against her, Meghan Markle said she was frustrated and explained that at work she “crouched down” and “tiptoed” from fear of being perceived negatively. Ambitious assumed, she added: “I am particular, I think a high tide lifts all ships, we will all succeed”.

“But I also find myself cowering and tiptoeing around a room and I find that embarrassing. I was like, ‘God, stop!’ Prince Harry’s wife continued. Just say this you need. You’re allowed to set a limit. You’re allowed to be clear, it doesn’t make you demanding. It doesn’t make you difficult, it makes you clear.” Meghan Markle has previously been branded a ‘difficult duchess’ following allegations that her ‘dictatorial’ behavior prompted her assistant Samantha Cohen to quit her job. As reported by The Daily Mail a few months ago, Buckingham Palace would have buried a report in which it was claimed that the Duchess of Sussex had behaved inappropriately towards her staff, just before her departure for the United States.

Meghan Markle accused of ’emotional cruelty’ and ‘bullying’

Meghan Markle has reportedly been accused of intimidating those who worked for her. According to information from the Sunday Times, this damning report will never be made public. Meghan Markle previously refuted these claims during her interview with Oprah Winfrey, saying Buckingham Palace would use the media to “peddle an entirely false narrative”. His lawyer had also come out of silence in the documentary The Princes and The Press and wanted to restore his truth.

“This story that no one could work for the Duchess of Sussex, that she was too difficult or demanding a boss, and that everyone had to leave, is simply not true,” said Jenny Afia. Attacked from all sides, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had even published a vitriolic press release. “The Duchess is saddened by this latest attack on her character, particularly as someone who has been the target of bullying and is deeply committed to supporting those who have suffered pain and trauma,” Archie’s parents wrote and of Lilibet. She is determined to continue her work in developing compassion around the world and will continue to strive to lead by example in doing what is right and doing what is right.”
