Saturday evening July 24, Kache’s grandmother, a 4-year-old boy, tucked him in his bed before he fell asleep. This is when the little boy is last seen, as reported by The Sun. Because the next morning, when his grandmother is looking for him in the house, Kache is nowhere to be found. The police are then notified and arrive on site to try to find the little boy. In vain. Two searches were carried out at the family home, but the latter proved unsuccessful. A third search was carried out on Sunday, July 25, and it was there that the police found Kache’s body, in the toy box in his room.
The official cause of death for the little boy is positional asphyxiation, Hurricane City police have confirmed. His death was therefore accidental. Kache probably crawled into his toy box, before choking on it due to his poor body position.
“We just don’t know what we’re going to do without him …”
On social networks and especially on the GoFundMe donation page opened to pay for the little boy’s funeral services, the comments towards the latter are sweet and sincere. In description, his family expresses themselves on the drama which touches them. “Our sweet Bubba passed away suddenly on Sunday July 25, leaving us heartbroken and empty,” it is written.
“Kache had an infectious smile and loved everyone, wherever he went. And everyone loved him too.” It also reads: “He was the glue that held us all together, we just don’t know what we’re going to do without him … He will be in our hearts forever! We love you Bubba! And you gonna be us to lack !”
