Meghan Markle has made some revelations about her son, Archie, 2, as well as Prince Harry’s first Father’s Day. These revelations were made during an interview with NPR Weekend. This is an interview recorded long before Lilibet was born. The Duchess of Sussex confides in it that her son, Archie, would be a voracious reader and that he loves his children’s book, The Bench.
In this same interview, the Duchess of Sussex also confides on their first Father’s Day. She admits in particular to having bought a bench for her husband. Above, there is an engraved plate. Meghan Markle is also said to have been inspired by this scene where she sees father and son, Harry and Archie, to write her poem.
“Her first interview since Oprah Winfrey”
This interview with NPR Weekend is the first for Meghan Markle since the one given to Oprah Winfrey. Recall that in the latter, the Sussexes had accused the royal family of racism.
“I knew our son would notice all of these, and he loves the book, which is great because he has a ravenous appetite for books and when we read him a book he always says’ over, over, over again. ‘But now the fact that he loves The Bench and that we can tell him’ Mom wrote this for you ‘is an amazing feeling, ”the Duchess tells NPR producer Samantha Balaban. “I think you can find sweet little moments that we hid in there – of my favorite flower, even my husband’s mom’s favorite flower, forget-me-nots,” adds Meghan Markle
