A source at fr24news said the Duchess of Sussex had an interview with the Queen ahead of Prince Philip’s funeral. The Duchess of Sussex, accused of having made a publicity stunt, was unable to make the trip since her doctor had advised her not to travel because of her pregnancy. She still made arrangements to make contact with her husband, Prince Harry, and the Sovereign, Queen Elizabeth II. Despite her absence, Meghan Markle also sent a handwritten note which was placed on a wreath dedicated to the Duke of Edinburgh by her husband.
Prince Harry returned alongside Meghan Markle and Archie on the eve of the Queen’s 95th birthday. His open ticket, however, foreshadowed that the prince was going to celebrate this event with his grandmother. Note that this is the Queen’s first birthday without Prince Philip. An event that occurs 12 days after the death of the Duke of Edinburgh.
“The first exchanges for almost a year”
Prince Harry has not returned to the country for almost a year. The funeral of the Duke of Edinburgh is therefore the first opportunity to exchange with his family again. The Duke of Sussex arrived in the UK without Meghan Markle by his side to attend his grandfather’s funeral. He was placed in isolation at Frogmore Cottage until the funeral.
After the funeral, Prince Harry and Prince Wiliam had a long and peaceful conversation. There followed a discussion behind the scenes of Princes Harry, William and Charles. A first meeting between father and son since the fallout from Megxit.
