Meghan Markle is the happiest woman in the world. Married to the man of her life, mother of a little boy, she is about to give life to a little girl. But just before, if she doesn’t give birth too early, her children’s book, The Bench, will be released on Tuesday, June 8, 2021. As the Mirror reports, in a dedication that she wrote in her book, she has had a careful delication for the two men in her life, namely her husband and her son. Indeed, on this handwritten note which is inside all the books, fans of the former actress will have the pleasure of reading this touching message: “For the man and the boy who make my heart beat.”
The story of the book she wrote was said to have sprung from a poem she invented for Prince Harry’s first Father’s Day. The work was presented as a story of fathers and sons seen through the eyes of a mother. “The Bench started with a poem I wrote for my husband on Father’s Day, the month after Archie was born. This poem became this story.” Moreover, still according to the tabloid, there would be a lot of references to the Sussexes themselves. In the 34 pages of the book, there are illustrations which represent the Duke, the royal child as well as their dogs. “My hope is that The Bench will resonate in every family, whatever its makeup, as much as it does in mine,” in the words of the Duchess of Sussex.
Meghan Markle’s book is the target of much criticism
