An investigation by the British royal family was launched in 2021 on Meghan Markle
The Duchess of Sussex reportedly requested numerous changes to Prince Harry’s staff as soon as he arrived
Employees denounce “humiliation”

Even if they are far from the British royal family, the settling of scores is going well between Meghan Markle and the Windsors. Indeed, an investigation into the Duchess of Sussex would have been launched by Queen Elizabeth II, to find out if, among other things, Prince Harry’s wife would have “intimidated” members of her staff when she was staying in London. According to a report by the Daily Mail, relations between Prince Harry’s staff and Archie and Lilibet’s mother were widely strained upon his arrival.

According to an employee attached to the house of Prince William’s brother, the atmosphere would have become electric when Meghan Markle entered the British royal family. After her union with Prince Harry, the American actress would have changed the habits of the staff, demanding many changes, in particular the fact that it is a butler and only him, who serves coffee to her husband. But in the face of such remarks, friends of Meghan Markle came to her defense: indeed, many of them confided to People magazine, that the actress had a benevolent behavior with her staff: “I went through it one day, and she ordered an amazing ice cream and sorbet stand for the office. They said it was the best day at work ever. It warmed my heart to see her continue to be her and bring her style United Kingdom.”

Meghan Markle’s lawyers deny the facts

Nevertheless, an investigation has been carried out by Buckingham Palace. Meghan Markle’s employees have all been asked to talk about their treatment, after some complained about the behavior of Prince Harry’s wife. Indeed, members of his staff accuse him of having humiliated them. On the side of the Duchess of Sussex, her lawyers have denied these accusations. According to the couple’s defense, the allegations would serve a “calculated smear campaign, based on misleading and harmful information. We are disappointed to see this defamatory portrayal of the Duchess of Sussex given credibility by a media outlet”, their lawyers said.
