On May 19, 2018, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry got married.
A few days before this wedding, Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, berated her staff.
Because of this egg story, Elizabeth II corrected Meghan Markle.
Prince Harry’s wedding to Meghan Markle took place on May 19, 2018. Meghan Markle, the former actress of Suits, therefore went from TV series star to Duchess of Sussex. A few days before the celebration of her marriage to Prince Harry, 37, Meghan Markle, 40, would have received a stern message from Elizabeth II, 96. The future Duchess of Sussex was monitoring her wedding preparations. The future mother of Archie and Lilibet Diana, 37 at the time, had reprimanded her staff, recalls the Fox News article from May 3, 2019.
Katie Nicholl, author and royal expert had reported how Meghan Markle approached her staff for an egg story. Hollywood stars who follow a macrobiotic diet were guests at Harry and Meghan’s wedding. The former actress had insisted that there be a “macrobiotic alternative” in certain dishes. “No, I can taste it, I can taste that there is egg in this dish”, she would have been offended after having tasted a dish which should not contain egg. Queen Elizabeth II of England, then 93, reportedly entered the room and picked up Meghan to speak to her privately.
Queen Elizabeth II had taught Meghan Markle how to talk to staff
The scene of the reprimand because of the egg taste in the dish had taken place in Windsor, in the house of Queen Elizabeth II of England, 96, as Katie Nicholl defines it. “Meghan, in this family, we don’t talk to people like that,” Queen Elizabeth II reportedly told Meghan Markle. According to Fox News, this wasn’t the first time Meghan Markle had received a remark from Prince Harry’s grandmother. “Markle had previously come under fire for choosing a tiara that Elizabeth didn’t approve of,” Fox News said.
