A nice present ! This Thursday, May 6, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle experienced a special day since their little Archie blew out his second candle. An intimate moment that the couple wanted to live in a small committee, in Los Angeles. But the Sussexes still thought about their fans and gave them a nice gift: a new photo of their son. On it, the two-year-old boy appears with his back to the camera, holding in his hands a thread connected to several balloons in the sky. An adorable shot, which his parents accompanied with a strong message that is more relevant than ever. “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex call on the community to support vaccine equity on the occasion of their son’s second birthday,” read the Meghan Markle and Prince Harry foundation website, Archewell.
“We have been deeply touched over the past two years to feel the warmth and support of our family in honor of Archie’s birthday,” the Sussexes continued, asking their fans to donate. money to “those who need it most”. Touched that “in much of the world, and in particular in developing countries, the distribution of vaccines has not yet started”, the couple want “equal access to the vaccine” against Covid-19. To help expand the campaign, the Sussexes have therefore requested donations of $ 5, automatically transformed into donations of $ 20, or four doses of vaccine, thanks to partner organizations. “Together we can uplift, protect and care for each other,” they concluded.

Archie’s birthday: messages from the royal family
Hours before the publication of this new photo, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry received messages from members of the Crown. “We wish Archie Mountbatten-Windsor a happy second birthday,” we could read on the royal family’s Twitter account, captioning a snapshot taken a few days after Archie’s birth. Kate Middleton and Prince William also had a thought for their nephew. “We wish Archie a very happy 2nd birthday today,” they captioned a beautiful family photo that dates back to the day of the christening of the Sussexes’ first child. Delicate touches that must have touched the Sussexes, eager to become parents for the second time in just a few weeks.
