For several weeks, the British royal family has been preparing for Christmas. Whether it is Queen Elizabeth II and her husband Prince Philip, the Cambridge family or the Sussex family, no matter how much they belong to the monarchy, after all they marvel at the magic of Christmas like us. For their part, the Queen of England and the Duke of Edinburgh will exceptionally stay at Buckingham Palace, and have preferred to draw a line on their traditional Christmas at Sandringham.
Thousands of kilometers away, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle will celebrate their own Christmas, as a family with their son Archie who is now 1.5 years old. Last year, the three of them had spent the holiday season in Canada, with Doria Ragland, in a luxurious waterfront mansion they had rented from a multimillionaire. This year is the very first time that the son of Princess Diana and the former American actress have spent Christmas in their new home in Montecito, which they bought with the utmost discretion last July.
This Wednesday, December 2, the royal couple went to a store to buy their own tree. On Twitter, the seller, a man named James, who has dealt with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recounted their meeting: “Meghan Markle and Harry came to my shop today and we sold them their Christmas tree. Christmas, “reports the American version of Elle.
In another tweet, he explained that when the couple were in the store, only one other family was present as well. Their little boy ran through the trees and asked Prince Harry if he worked in the shop, not knowing who he was. And to conclude: “They seem to be very nice people, honestly. Meghan looks very nice and Harry acted like a nice guy, really. I’m really glad they liked our trees. We found them the best we have. I’m very happy. ” For its part, the royal family inaugurated its majestic Christmas tree at Windsor Castle.
