King Philippe, 61, and Queen Mathilde of Belgium, 49, ended their stay in the Middle East on February 5. Remember that Belgian royalty began the official visit to the Sultanate of Oman on February 2, 2022. The stay therefore lasted 3 days and ended in the United Arab Emirates. It was Prince Saif bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, 54, the Emir’s half-brother and Minister of the Interior, who greeted the royal couple upon their arrival in Abu Dhabi.
This World Expo 2020 was organized in 2021 – 2022 because of the pandemic. In particular, it gives the stage to all the participating countries, each of which has one day. Heads of State or representatives are invited to travel to Dubai to visit their national pavilion during these days. Of course, on February 5, it was Belgium that was honored in Dubai. In this context, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium were able to discover the Green Ark. It is indeed the pavilion of Belgium which was designed by Assar Architects and Vincent Callebaut. Note that during this universal exhibition, the State of Belgium was able to have a space of 500 m².

Queen Mathilde of Belgium was very elegant during this visit. Indeed, the 49-year-old mother of 4 chose a cream midi dress with sage details. This magnificent outfit, she accessorized it with a sun hat, a belt and matching sage shoes. King Philippe of Belgium also played symphony with his wife’s outfit by opting for a dark beige suit.
As jewelry, Queen Mathilde of Belgium chose simple jewelry. These include pearl dangling earrings. As for her hairstyle, Mathilde from Belgium chose to pull her hair back with a low bun. Last elegant touch: her little green pocket!
