On Friday January 14, 2021, Princess Mary of Denmark was present at Queen Margrethe’s Golden Jubilee. An event that took place at Christiansborg Castle in Copenhagen. This is the first outing for Princess Mary, 49, since she tested positive for Covid-19 last December. For this special occasion, the Royal Princess of Denmark has decided to wear a magnificent camel-colored outfit.
50 years ago to the day, on January 14, 1972, Queen Margrethe II became Queen of Denmark. The 81-year-old monarch is Denmark’s first female sovereign. This is a historical fact for the country. Many photos from the event show a happy reunion between the couple, Princess Mary and Crown Prince Frederik, 53, as well as his brother, Prince Joachim, 52, and his wife, Princess Marie, 45. Note that these celebrations had to be scaled back due to the pandemic. Only, larger celebrations are planned for September 2022.
Princess Mary of Denmark: both sublime and elegant for the occasion
Princess Mary of Denmark was a true example of chic and elegance for this event. She showed up in a “Camel” color dress. This is a “Seymore” dress by Gabriela Hearst. Originally sold at £995 at My Theresa, it is now offered at £696. To complete her outfit, the Countess chose to recycle her Allana Latte clutch from Naledi Copenhagen. A piece that was sold at £736.
As for the choice of shoes, the Crown Princess of Denmark wore Prada beige leather pumps with pointed toes. As an accessory, she chose a Jane Taylor London pillow hat. Another piece she decided to put back. She wore it for the first time in 2017 during an official release.
