The murder of 10-year-old Lily Peters on Sunday April 25 stunned more than one. The only good news about this sordid affair is that new elements are appearing every day. Moreover, the Daily Mail reported the arrest of a 14-year-old suspect, accused of the murder of little Lily Peters. “His purpose was to rape and kill the victim from the start,” Chippewa County District Attorney Wade Newell said at the weekend. Even though his identity is kept secret, the outlet still reveals that his father was himself a child sex offender. Moreover, the father would have already been sentenced to 3 years in prison for “possession of child pornography material”.
Daily Mail also reports that the suspect followed his victim on his way home from his aunt’s house on Sunday April 25. The 14-year-old “choked her, hit her with a stick, then strangled her again until she died,” prosecutors said. It was after that he would have raped her! Note that the suspect was arrested and charged with murder. However, prosecutors have yet to comment on whether he will be prosecuted as an adult or not. “I think this is a very serious case that must be treated as provided by law,” says Wade Newell. The young man’s bail is set at one million dollars.
A descent into hell for Lily’s father
Remember that little Lily had disappeared on Sunday, April 25. Quickly, his father reported his disappearance to the authorities giving rise to a massive search during which his bicycle was found on the way to his aunt’s house. It wasn’t until the day after he disappeared that his body was found in a wooded area in Wisconsin.
