This Monday, January 24, Queen Letizia of Spain, 49, was in Madrid. The wife of King Felipe IV, 53, had notably rewarded the Hispania Nostra association by presenting the medal of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando. This association defends and fights to enhance and promote cultural heritage since 1976. The event was held at the headquarters of the Royal Academy. The mother of Leonor, 16, and Sofia, 14, notably presented the diploma to Araceli Pereda, the president of the Hispania Nostra association.
The wife of King Felipe VI was not the only one honored for this event. Indeed, during this public engagement, Queen Letizia of Spain was alongside Meritxell Batet, President of the Congress of Deputies, and Miquel Iceta, Minister of Culture and Sports. As for the congratulatory speech, it was the academician Rafael Manzano who delivered it. It should be noted that this medal of honor is “awarded each year to a person or an institution, Spanish or foreign, who has distinguished himself in an exceptional way in the study, promotion or dissemination of the Arts, in artistic creation or in protection of historical heritage”.
Queen Letizia of Spain has recycled an outfit signed Felipe Varela
It is worth pointing out that the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando is one of the main cultural institutions in Spain. It was notably inaugurated by King Fernand VI in 1752.
Without real surprises, Queen Letizia of Spain, 49, was magnificent during this event. Known for recycling her clothes during her official engagements, the mother of Princess Leonor, 16, and Infanta Sofia, 14, was no exception to that rule here. Indeed, the Queen of Spain has decided to give a sublime outfit signed Filipe Varela. As shoes, Letizia from Spain had chosen Magrit pumps. As accessories, the Queen of Spain opted for a matching clutch as well as gold earrings and a Karen Hallam ring.
