The date of October 12 is very important for the royal family and for all of Spain. It is Día de la Hispanidad, the Spanish national holiday celebrated in Madrid. Each year, the royal family attends the traditional parade organized for the occasion. This time around, Princess Leonor was not seen alongside her parents and baby sister. The Princess is in Wales to complete her studies. Although not complete, the Spanish royal family were superb.
For the occasion, Queen Letizia opted for an elegant pastel blue dress. The midi dress features an asymmetric pleated skirt. The dress is cinched at the waist with a beautiful blue belt. This gorgeous dress is the work of Spanish designer María Barragán. The blue color is always gorgeous on the queen, the pastel blue enhances her slightly tan hue. For the best effect, Letizia from Spain opted for a pair of brown stilettos from Magrit. She had in her hand a beautiful clutch in the same color as her shoes. To complete her look, the queen has not forgotten her favorite gold ring.
Letizia from Spain wore very symbolic earrings
A true icon of Spanish fashion, Letizia of Spain has not omitted any detail about her outfit. As Princess Leonor was missed on the national day, the mother of two wanted to give her a little wink. To do this, the wife of King Felipe VI wore her Bvlgari earrings. These magnificent jewels in white gold and aquamarine diamonds go wonderfully with her outfit.
But beyond the aesthetic, her Bvlgari earrings are the gift King Felipe VI made to the Queen when Princess Leonor was born. According to Express magazine, by wearing these earrings yesterday, the Queen pays tribute to her daughter who was unable to attend the National Day. Express states that: “the Queen wanted to wink at her eldest daughter and future Queen of Spain, Princess Leonor, who missed the event for the first time”.
