Queen Letizia of Spain, 49, visited Spain’s first proton therapy center on Friday February 11. The center is dependent on the Quirónsalud Hospital which is located in Pozuelo de Alarcón. According to the Spanish Royal Palace, proton therapy is an effective and safe treatment for certain forms of cancer. “Thanks to this therapy, it is possible to treat many cases of cancer, especially brain tumors and those located along the spine,” says Casa Real. This form of radiotherapy makes it possible to treat tumors without damaging the surrounding tissues and organs by avoiding irradiating them.
King Felipe VI, 54, is currently in isolation at the Zarzuela Palace. The husband of Queen Letizia of Spain tested positive for Covid on Wednesday February 9. Fortunately, this is not the case for the mother of Princess Leonor, 16, and Infanta Sofia, 14. The 49-year-old former journalist having tested negative for Covid-19, she continues to honor her commitments. During her visit to the first proton therapy center in Spain, Letizia from Spain met two sick children and their families, according to Paris Match. The Sovereign was also able to visit the centre’s consultation, treatment and control rooms.

Taking advantage of the mild temperatures in Madrid, the wife of the Spanish ruler, King Felipe VI, is in spring mode. Letizia, the queen of Spain and recycling, highlighted her figure in a black dress with a floral pattern by Massimo Dutti during her visit to the proton therapy center. Letizia from Spain cleverly paired her dress with camel-colored pumps that matched the little flowers on her dress. Proud of her salt and pepper hair, Queen Letizia of Spain sported a perfect brushing revealing some white hair.
