Queen Letizia of Spain met with women scientists and entrepreneurs on Tuesday, February 8. The meeting was held at the National Museum of Natural Sciences (MNCN-CSIC) in Madrid. Letizia from Spain, 49, chaired the meeting which focused on the theme of the importance of women scientists. The women present at the meeting debated on the theme “Breaking the glass ceiling: the female scientist, from the laboratory to entrepreneurship”, reports the Paris Match. The Spanish Royal Palace explained that the purpose of the meeting is “to make visible the role of women in science, technology and business, highlighting their most outstanding contributions and showing examples of success.”

Earlier this year Queen Letizia of Spain had a small incident.
