This Sunday, Spain celebrated Mother’s Day. The opportunity for Queen Letizia, keen on culture, to take a little family outing to the Royal Theater in Madrid to attend an opera. On display these days? The play Peter Grimes, by British composer Benjamin Britten premiered in 1945. If the performance lasted more than three hours, the daughters of the royal couple, Leonor and Sofia, aged 15 and 14 respectively, did not have to worry about be in good shape for school the next day, May 3 being a public holiday in Madrid. When they left the theater, Felipe VI, Letizia, Leonor and Sofia did not escape the flashes of the cameras, and even briefly posed in the streets of Madrid. Masked, they had opted for looks a little more casual than during the official outings, in particular Letizia from Spain, who sported a black leather jacket, matched with cigarette pants of the same shade, as well as a pair of ballerinas. Only her top, pale pink, injected a little color into this rock’n’roll look.

Letizia from Spain: his youngest daughter follows suit
Letizia from Spain was not the only one to play hard on the skin, since her younger sister, Sofia, had also opted for a leather jacket, coupled with a graphic dress and black ankle boots. Her sister, Leonor, was very chic in a white top and black flared pants, all covered in a coat with a houndstooth print. The king, meanwhile, was dressed in a dark blue ensemble and a pale blue shirt, open collar and no tie.
