A beautiful summer sun was at the rendezvous at the Retiro Park in Madrid, on May 27, 2022. The park hosted the 378 exhibitors’ stands set up outdoors, on the occasion of the Madrid Book Fair. For the inauguration of this important event, the icon of Spanish royal fashion, Letizia of Spain, 49, made the trip. The Book Fair is in its 81st edition this year, indicates Histoires Royales. Queen Letizia of Spain is in charge of the inauguration of the event. As usual, the wife of King Felipe VI of Spain, 54, stood out in an outfit that makes her look radiant.

For the occasion, Queen Letizia of Spain chose a dress tailored for the summer season. Queen Letizia of Spain caused a stir in another cheeky pink dress earlier this month. Radiant, Letizia from Spain sported a long pink dress that comes to her ankle. The gorgeous dress worn by the mother of Princess Leonor, 16, and Infanta Sofia, 15, is by Hugo Boss. It’s a flowing pink dress with rolled up sleeves that Letizia from Spain teamed with a fuchsia cord to mark her waist. On the feet, the wife of King Felipe IV of Spain bet on pink wedge espadrilles.

The Madrid Book Fair is, according to the Royal House, the biggest popular cultural event in Spain. On site, Letizia Ortiz met the Spanish Minister of Education, Pilar Alegria. Also in attendance was the mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida. The Madrid Book Fair brings together numerous exhibitors from institutions such as the Ministry of Culture and Sports and the City Council of Madrid. Queen Letizia of Spain also stopped to visit these stands, but also some other important stands. “Queen Letizia also stopped at the stands of several well-known and lesser-known bookstores and publishing houses, national, local, general or in specific areas”, specifies Histoires Royales.
