A disturbing death. Youtubeur Laith Abdallah Algaz, known under the pseudonym of Leo Rex, was found dead in Pattaya, Thailand on Monday January 30. The 34-year-old body of the videographer was discovered in the early evening in his room, which appeared to have been ransacked. An investigation has been opened to try to determine the mysterious circumstances of his death.
According to the Thai police, the death of Leo Rex dates back several hours before his friend discovered his body and alerted the emergency services. When he was found, the young man was half undressed, had a bruise on his eye, and was lying face down in his bedroom, where blood was pouring from his mouth and nose.
Leo Rex’s friends are going to be interrogated
Numerous medications and drugs were also found in Leo Rex’s apartment, some of which were used to treat his bipolarity. These products included anxiolytics, sleeping pills, steroids, antidepressants and cannabis. An autopsy must be conducted to discover the exact causes of his death. “We will be interviewing the victim’s friends and a woman who stayed with him prior to his death. We urge the public not to jump to conclusions until a full review has been done.” knowing the police captain, Sombat Kaewmulsuk, while specifying that the CCTV images were going to be examined.
Originally from Colorado in the United States, Leo Rex became known thanks to his YouTube channel “Leo and Longevity”, followed by more than 120,000 people. On it, the videographer published educational entertainment videos on health or bodybuilding, in order to help his subscribers live better and longer.
