At 19 and in the company of his wife Camryn, Landon Clifford had managed to federate more than a million subscribers on YouTube by sharing his daily life as a young father and husband. But this Saturday, August 22, as noted by the site of the American edition of the magazine Hola !, the young woman announced sad news on her Instagram account. Her beloved died after six days in a coma. “August 13, 2020 was Landon’s last day as the best father and husband he could be,” read the caption of a shocking snapshot. The latter shows the hand of the young woman, mother and bride on the chest of Landon Clifford, lying on what appears to be a hospital bed.
“After spending the next six days in a coma, he passed away and donated several organs to people in need across the country,” continues Camryn Clifford. And to conclude: “he died knowing the lives of others (…) He was so young and had so much more life to live. This is not how things should be.” In her Instagram story of this Monday, August 24, the young woman evoked the memory of Landon Clifford, which she now shares with their two daughters, Collette and Delilah. “The best parts of him are still alive in them,” she wrote, “when I miss him I kiss my daughters.” In another Instagram post, Camryn Clifford showed up with her friends, all holding her hand to better support her through this difficult ordeal. “Today we are celebrating his life.”
