It was a real tragedy that took place this Friday, November 5. As thousands of people took part in the Astroworld festival, a crowd movement left eight people dead and dozens injured. On stage, rapper Travis Scott, who at first noticed nothing, was forced to stop his performance in front of these scenes of disarray. “People started to fall unconscious and it created further panic,” the Houston fire chief said at a press conference on Saturday. At least 23 people were taken to hospital, including a 10-year-old boy, authorities said. It is estimated that 300 people were treated by the hospital which had been set up on site for the festival.
Shortly before the drama, Travis Scott’s companion, Kylie Jenner posted several photos and videos of her presence at the festival. And she wasn’t alone, as her 3-year-old daughter Stormi was by her side. The little girl can be seen from the back, watching her father’s show. Kylie Jenner was also accompanied by Kendall, her sister and several members of the rapper’s family. Touching family clichés, but which today have a very bitter taste. The Jenner-Scott clan has also been declared safe and sound.
Kylie Jenner: “I will pray for the healing of all who have been affected”
Kylie Jenner has also reacted to the drama that took place during the concert of her companion: “I want to clarify that we were not aware of the deaths until the news was known after the show and that we would never have continued filming or acting. I send my deepest condolences to all families during this difficult time and I will pray for the healing of all who have been affected. ” For his part, the rapper also offered his condolences to the families.
