The legal battle is far from over between Kim Kardashian, 41, and her ex, Kanye West. The 44-year-old rapper is trying to delay the divorce by all means. Aside from his social media outbursts, Kanye West, aka Ye, is blocking his court dispute with Kim Kardashian. News Boston recalls that the rap mogul and reality star KUWTK agreed on the procedure to follow in December 2021. Kim Kardashian, 41, then asked the court to declare her legally single before work out details about child custody and division of property.
On February 16, “Ye opposed it in his own case, and raised a host of new questions,” says News Boston. In a filing in Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday, Feb. 23, the KUWTK star said her ex-husband doesn’t accept the situation at all. “Mr. West, by his actions, has made it clear that he does not accept that the marital relationship of either party is over,” she said in court filings.
Kanye West doesn’t see co-parenting the same way as his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian
The mum of North West, 8, Saint West, 6, Chicago West, 4, and Psalm, 2, wants to be divorced more than ever. “I really want to be divorced. I asked Kanye to keep our divorce private, but he didn’t,” Kim Kardashian said before continuing, “I believe that if the court ends our marriage, it will help Kanye accept that our marital relationship is over and move on.” Kim Kardashian seems to want the divorce to go smoothly and mostly in private. But it is not without counting on Kanye West.
“Mr. West has posted on social media the parties’ private communications and misinformation about personal family matters and co-parenting,” Kim Kardashian, 41, said in her court filing. Among other things, Kanye West, alis Ye, blames his ex-wife for preventing him from making important decisions in the lives of their children.
