Monday, September 13 marked the return of the long-awaited Met Gala, the flagship event of the fashion world in New York. Every year (except when the Covid gets involved), many celebrities gather at the Metropolitan Museum of Art eager to exhibit their finest – and above all, more wacky – attire in front of the flashes of photographers. To spice things up a bit, the event provides a theme each year that helps steer the stars into a certain wardrobe. For this 2021 edition, a dual theme has been imposed, namely In America: A lexicon of Fashion and In America: An Anthology of Fashion. Understand by this the lexicon and the collection of fashion in the United States. A broad subject for which Kim Kardashian visibly felt inspired since the star walked the beige carpet at the Met Gala in an outfit that was surprising to say the least. Dressed by Balenciaga, Kim Kardashian was dressed in black from head to toe … literally. The entertainment star’s body was fully covered in a dark, tight-fitting fabric. So tight-fitting that it was possible to distinguish the features of the star’s face under the mask. For its part, however, it is not said that the latter perfectly distinguished the space around it, judging by its slight instability. Often criticized on the Web for her revealing outfits, Kim Kardashian shows with this Balenciaga creation that she knows just as well how to capture attention by taking the opposite route.
Kim Kardashian, fan of full suits
This is not the first time that Kim Kardashian has appeared covered from head to toe. Only two days ago on Instagram, the star had shared a series of photos in which she appears all dressed in leather, gloved, boots and masked. A look that has divided Internet users, some praising the “epic” side of the outfit, others finding too close a resemblance to the American Horror Story series
