If the model is very close to them, she has a special relationship with her eldest son, who suffers from septo-optic dysplasia, a syndrome that has made him partially blind, autism and Prader-Willi syndrome. While Harvey is very dependent on her, the young woman decided to have him interned. She has been looking for a university for students with autism and learning difficulties for six months, so that they can learn to live a more independent life. If she does this primarily for her son, this decision is particularly difficult for Katie Price. For the Sun, she said, “It breaks my heart. I don’t want him to think I’m getting rid of him.”
Due to his autism, Harvey can sometimes lash out in unpredictable ways, especially when surprised by loud noises. While she will no longer be by his side on a daily basis, Katie Price explained: “It’s really heartbreaking to think that I won’t see him every day, but it’s the best thing for Harvey and we have to think positive. because I don’t want him to think I’m getting rid of him. This is his chance to lead an independent life, learn things and socialize with people other than me. ” Moved, she added: “I’m trying to get him used to my absence. But he calls me using his iPad and says, ‘Mom, I need you,’ and I hurry to join him. When he will be three hours from home, it will break my heart because I will not be able to join him, since I also have to marry with my other children. ”
“I must learn to let go”
Referring to her son’s departure, the model revealed, “When he goes to college he’ll learn to be an adult. He’s already telling me, ‘Mom, I’m not a little boy, I’m a man.’ The other kids are happy for him, they want to see what he can do. But I think it will be difficult for them when he isn’t around on the weekends. I have to learn to let go, but it’s hard , those in my shoes know how it is. ” Until the age of 25, Harvey will be able to live in this structure and will be able to learn to live on his own. “I hope he makes some friends so he can socialize on the weekends, but if he doesn’t have any plans then he can come home when he wants. He’s supposed to start in September, but with the confinement, I do not know if he will be able, “said the star.
