The Princess of Wales broke protocol by kissing Victoria Beckham’s husband.
Prince William and Kate Middleton flew to Boston on Wednesday, November 30. At the end of a three-day trip, where they did not wish to take their children, they took part in a major event, the Earthshot awards ceremony. Indeed, the ceremony organized at the MGM Music Hall in Boston, rewarded environmental projects that will improve the world for future generations.
As they arrived on the red carpet, Prince William who is the founder of the Earthshot Awards appeared in a sleek black suit. For her part, Kate Middleton was radiant in an apple green dress from the Solace London brand. In addition to her long dress, the Princess of Wales had chosen a magnificent diamond and emerald choker as well as a sumptuous pair of earrings from Asprey, to accessorize her outfit.

In addition to being the organizers of the event and speaking at the ceremony, the parents of George, Charlotte and Louis were able to count on guests of honor. Indeed, the footballer David Beckham, the singers Chloe and Halle Bailey as well as the actor Rami Malek had for example made the trip.
If Brooklyn Beckham’s father arrived at the gala in a hybrid vehicle, he then joined Prince William and Kate Middleton to greet them warmly. According to Hello Magazine, he leaned towards the Princess of Wales to kiss her. A gesture that she did not refuse, even if it means breaking the protocol which prohibits this type of rapprochement during official outings. A step aside that does not resemble the wife of Prince William, very straddling the respect of protocol.
David Beckham is a close friend of the royal family
If Kate Middleton shocked by giving a kiss to David Beckham, the 47-year-old man is close to the royal couple. Indeed, the former British international is regularly invited to major events of the British monarchy such as the wedding of Kate and William in 2011 or that of Harry and Meghan in 2018.
Last September, David Beckham, who could not be invited to the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II for lack of space, still wanted to pay tribute to him. He had thus waited for more than 10 hours to be able to bow before the coffin of the British monarch, who died on September 8 at the age of 96.
