On Friday January 21, 2022, Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, were visiting Clitheroe Community Hospital in Lancashire. The royal couple notably met with the staff to find out and understand what they experienced during the coronavirus pandemic. During this visit, the Cambridges also met Alfie, a 10-week-old cockapoo. This is a therapy pup that the Duchess of Cambridge, 40, was more than happy to cuddle. Note that the puppy also licked the cheek of Prince William, 39. In particular, he will be trained to help patients and colleagues at East Lancashire HospitalsNHS Trust. Alfie therefore joins the Jasper therapy dog team.
The meeting with Alfie visibly marked Kate, the daughter-in-law of Prince Charles, 73 years old.
