Something promised, something due. Thursday May 27, Kate Middleton took advantage of her official trip to Scotland to meet Mila Sneddon, a 4-year-old child with cancer, which marked the Duchess of Cambridge. And for good reason, as part of the Hold Still project launched during the first confinement, the little girl had sent Prince William’s wife a photo of her kissing a window behind which her father is, who during the confinement made a home apart with his family so as not to risk infecting his daughter while in the middle of chemotherapy, while he continued to work.
Last fall, Mila received a call from Kate Middleton in which the Duchess had promised to wear a pink dress when they met, because it is the favorite color of the little girl. And when they met at Holyroodhouse Palace in Edinburgh, the Duchess had opted for a sublime pink dress. Long, buttoned and with a pointed collar, this dress suited her perfectly with its two shades of pink, and was belted at the waist to emphasize her slim waist. A look completed by powder pink pumps, and a flowery mask with however a small lack of size: a tiara. While little Mila, she had not forgotten this detail to complete her outfit worthy of a real little princess.
Kate Middleton “made sure to find a pink dress”
A delicate attention from Kate Middleton, who had formally promised Mila this pink dress for their meeting. “OK, well, I’ll make sure I find a pink dress for when I hope one day we meet Mila. I will remember that I have to wear a pink dress for you,” she had slipped over the phone to the little girl, she who never fails to make promises to the people she meets. Last June, for example, she had promised a child that she would plant a sunflower in tribute to Fraser, a little boy who died from Coats syndrome, a rare disease that affects several organs and causes brain abnormalities.
