Carole Middleton, known to the media as the mother of Prince William’s illustrious wife Kate Middleton, runs a party accessories company, which she founded with her husband, Michael Middleton, in 1987 Presumably passionate about decoration and festive atmospheres, the grandmother of George, Charlotte, Louis and Arthur (the son of Pippa Middleton), does not hesitate to take over the company’s Instagram account, Party Pieces, to deliver valuable decoration advice or gift ideas. Shortly before Christmas, on December 12, Carole Middleton looked into the question of what to give children for the holidays. “I find that small gifts are always a source of entertainment and pleasure for children,” Kate’s mother confided before adding “I remember when they were younger my children were very fond of small action figures.” So, we have to imagine Kate, Pippa and James as children, spending hours playing with miniature models of their favorite characters. A craze that mother and grandmother could well transmit to the children of the royal couple, if Carole Middleton follows her own advice.
Kate Middleton: her many artistic hobbies
But the Duchess of Edinburgh might as well try to share her creative streak with George, Charlotte and Louis. Indeed, William’s wife, who seems to excel in sports as well as in cooking, also has a pronounced taste for artistic hobbies. In a Bustle article from August 2020, the magazine revealed that Kate Middleton particularly enjoyed pottery painting, cake decorating and photography. This last hobby is also not a surprise, when we see the pictures taken by the Duchess which are regularly shared on Kensington’s official Instagram account. In another interview in 2016, it was Prince William himself who made an astonishing confidence about his wife’s hobbies, revealing that the latter adored adult coloring books.
