Prince William and Kate Middleton are both 40 years old.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were treated to a couple portrait painted by an artist painter for the first time.
The outfit of Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, has some symbols that are far from insignificant.

Prince William turns 40 on June 21, 2022. His wife, the sublime Kate Middleton, reached her forties earlier this year. No party was held on the Duke of Cambridge’s 40th birthday. This does not mean that this very important event was not marked. For the 40th birthdays of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, the University of Cambridge gave them a big surprise. On Thursday June 23, 2022, the future king of England and his wife discovered their first portrait as a couple.

The sublime painting freezing side by side the grandson of Queen Elizabeth II and his wife is signed by the artist Jamie Coreth. This first portrait of the Cambridge couple was commissioned by the Cambridgeshire Royal Portrait Fund. This painting is so special in that it is a first for the princely couple. William and Kate have already had portraits painted by artists. The one painted by Jamie Coreth shows the couple, united and on the same canvas with their eyes pointing in the same direction and the outline of a smile on their faces.

Kate Middleton: these nods from the Duchess of Cambridge to Diana and Elizabeth II in her outfit

In the painting, the mother of George, 8, Charlotte, 7, and Louis, 4, wears a sublime emerald green dress by The Vampire’s Wife. It’s been a favorite brand of the Duchess of Cambridge, 40, for years, according to Madame Figaro. Prince Charles’ daughter-in-law winks at Lady Diana by wearing royal finery. In the portrait, the future Queen, Kate Middleton, wears Princess Diana’s Collingwood earrings and three-row pearl bracelet.

That’s not all, for a subtle tribute to Queen Elizabeth II of England, 96, as well as a few royal women before her, Kate Middleton wore a pearl and diamond brooch from the Queen. “What underlines the future royal role that awaits the Duchess since this jewel originally belonged to Princess Augusta, who was also in her time Duchess of Cambridge”, points out Madame Figaro.
