A noticeable absence. This Friday, July 8, Nova Djokovic was opposed to Cameron Norrie in the Wimbledon semi-final. And after a little 2h30 of effort, it was finally the Serb who won against the young Briton, and thus reached the final of the tennis tournament. A match which however did not attend Kate Middleton, yet accustomed to the courts.
Indeed, the Duchess of Cambridge was for example present in the stands this Tuesday, July 5 for the quarter-final between Novak Djokovic and Jannick Sinner. A meeting during which the wife of prince William was also accompanied by his parents, Carole and Michael. Kate Middleton also stood out during the meeting because she had a very affectionate gesture towards them: she was photographed sending them a sweet kiss.
Kate Middleton fulfills her role as a mother
But this Friday, no trace of the Duchess in the spans of Wimbledon. However, there is a very good reason for this absence. It was indeed the last day of school for two of his children: Prince George, eight, and Princess Charlotte, seven. Kate Middelton therefore had to give up the tennis match to ensure her role as a mother. But that the fans of the royal family are reassured, because the duchess will be present for the singles finals which take place this weekend. This Saturday, July 9, she will attend the ladies’ final between Elena Rybakina and Ons Jabeur, and she will be joined by her husband, Prince William, to watch the men’s final scheduled for this Sunday between Nick Kyrios and Novak Djokovic.
