A video from her book Hold Still was shared by Kate Middleton. A video that was welcomed on the networks before the official release of the book on May 7, 2021. The release of the Duchess of Cambridge’s book comes a few days before that of the Duchess of Sussex’s book. This book by Prince William’s wife revolves around the pandemic. It notably captures the realities of the disease around the world. Kate Middleton, 39, collaborated with the National Portrait Gallery when designing the book. The Duchess appealed to people around the world to submit footage from the first Lockdown.

The book Hold Still is made up of a hundred images accompanied by stories. It was on Instagram that the Duchess of Cambridge shared a video of the book. Where we see a montage of pages from the inside of the book.
“A lasting trace of what we have all experienced”
Hold Still will be officially released on May 7, 2021. The book will be available in all UK bookstores and will also be available online. Note that the project was launched a year ago. Hold Still comes out a month before the publication of The Bench, Meghan Markle’s children’s book.
“With Hold Still, I wanted to use the power of photography to create a lasting record of what we have all been through – to capture the stories of individuals and document moments that matter to families and communities as we live through life. pandemic, “said Kate Middleton in the introduction to her book. Proceeds from the sale of the book will be divided between the mental health charity Mind and the National Portrait Gallery.
