As usual, Prince William and Kate Middleton, both 40, approached the crowd to shake a few hands with their biggest smiles. The Cambridges’ visit to Cardiff is part of the celebration of 70 years of reign of Elizabeth II. But, according to Femme Actuelle, Cardiff and Wales are also of paramount importance to the Cambridge couple. “William could indeed be made Prince of Wales when his father Prince Charles, the current bearer of this title, ascends the throne of England,” the magazine said. In addition, the interaction between Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, and one of the spectators who are part of the public is linked to this eventuality.

Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, who just celebrated his 40th birthday on Tuesday, June 21, was a few meters from his wife, happily waving to the crowd.
