The Princess of Wales bet on a wintry and dark look that suited her perfectly
A dark look… but a radiant face! This Thursday, January 12, Kate Middleton was seen for the first time since the explosive revelations of Prince Harry, whose memoirs have just been published. In true King Charles III fashion, the Princess of Wales didn’t let it show as she arrived with Prince William in Liverpool. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited the city’s new Royal University Hospital, which opened in October 2022, replacing the old facility which had served for more than four decades. On their faces: wide smiles and no look of concern or annoyed by Prince Harry’s revelations about them. For a visit to Liverpool, the Princess of Wales donned a wintry look that suited her.
Under her dark Holland Cooper coat at 949 euros, the Princess of Wales wore Cefinn’s ‘Eva’ dress which she cinched at the waist with a leather belt. “Perfectly combining comfort and style, rib knit dresses are on the rise this season. Eva is made from a thick merino wool blend. The funnel neck, blouson sleeves and pleated details on the shoulders add interest to this must-have of the day”, describes the brand, which sells it for 290 pounds, nearly 330 euros. To complete her look of the day, Kate Middleton had chosen the Amberley bag from the Mulberry brand, sold at 1,130 pounds, or 1,276 euros.

During the tour of this new hospital, the Prince and Princess of Wales learned about the recent medical facilities. Prince William and Kate Middleton also met the staff who were hard at work during the complicated winter period, including support staff and mental health first aiders to thank them for their service. During the visit of the crowned heads, were also present some members of the intensive care team whom His Royal Highness met during a video call in 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic. For the Prince and Princess of Wales, there is therefore no reason to show their emotion after the publication of Prince Harry’s memoirs, in which they are both scratched.
