The Kate Middleton effect was not long in coming. Just days after pictures of her wearing her new Christmas outfit were revealed, the sweater disappeared from circulation. On December 17th, the trailer for the Royal Carols Together At Christmas charity event aired on ITV. The Duchess of Cambridge, 39, displayed this particularly festive outfit. She revisits a traditional Christmas garment: a red designer cardigan. This is a Miu Miu cardigan valued at £ 1,350.
For many, Kate Middleton’s cardigan is a must have for this year’s Christmas. The model is out of stock at all online vendors, and you can see why. Besides the Kate effect, the cardigan is a real little work of art in cashmere adorned with diamond stitching. It stands out thanks to its removable white Peter Pan collar, white balls and roses. You can also notice the sparkle of its mother-of-pearl buttons. Before entering Westminster Abbey, the Duchess wore another equally chic and festive outfit.

“I am very happy to host Together At Christmas here at Westminster Abbey,” Kate told the cameras. Cameras also captured footage of the Duchess of Cambridge leaving her vehicle to enter the abbey. In the promotion video, fans were able to see the Duchess’s new Catherine Walker red dress. The dress is distinguished by its large red bow on the bodice. “She added a touch of glamor to her outfit with the Queen’s sapphire and diamond fringe earrings,” reports the Daily Mail.
