This Tuesday, September 21, Kate Middleton granted herself a solo outing. George’s mother, Charlotte and Louis traveled to Cumbria, northwest England, to meet Holocaust survivors, the Windermere Children, for a boat trip. For the occasion, the Duchess – whose start to the day consisted of an abseiling then a mountain bike ride – had released the all-terrain outfit, obviously more practical than the dress-heel combo. Despite the forest setting, Kate Middleton had not forgotten to stay elegant and it is wearing a fitted jacket in the Prince of Wales print that the Duchess honored her date outdoors. The coin, signed Really Wild, is valued at 395 pounds according to L’Express UK, or around 460 euros. To accompany this look, Kate Middleton had bet on black jeans, a cream undershirt and a pair of boots from the See by Chloe brand, the cost of which is around 290 euros (250 pounds). Results ? An autumnal and well-cut look, as practical as it is refined, which proves once again that dresses and heels are not inevitable in the elegance of an outfit.
Kate Middleton, chic to the end of the boots
When it comes to ditching the frills for more casual outfits, Kate Middleton knows how to do it! During her outings “in the open air”, the Duchess regularly puts on a basic look: fitted jacket, tight dark jeans and a pair of boots. Last April, for example, when she visited Manor Farm with Prince William, Kate Middleton caused a sensation in raw jeans, riding boots and Sézane jacket.
