This Monday, June 27, the Wimbledon tournament will start with the first round of the Grand Slam. If for tennis fans, the excitement is in order, for Kate Middleton, it is an important period. Indeed, the wife of Prince William is one of the patrons of the tournament and regularly visits the court. If the Duchess of Cambridge went to Wimbledon, she was forced to leave the royal box hastily because of an alert, according to our colleagues from the Mirror, who do not reveal precisely for what precise reason this alert was sounded.

Decidedly, Kate Middleton has no luck at Wimbledon. Indeed, last year, she had to leave the sports enclosure since she was in contact with a person who tested positive for Covid-19. The rule at the time was clear: contact cases had the obligation to isolate themselves so as not to be able to contaminate others. The Duchess of Cambridge was then confined to Kensington for her quarantine period. She then missed many engagements following this discovery but was still seen in the women’s final in which Ashleigh Barty won the tournament.

Kate Middleton and her endless week

Kate Middleton was also present in the men’s final, won by Novak Djokovic. She then went to the final of Euro 2020 at Wembley. Hoping that everything goes better this year for the Duchess of Cambridge who had a very busy week with the celebrations of the 40 years of her husband. She also unveiled the National Memorial to the Windrush Generation and carried out numerous engagements in Cambridgeshire. A little rest and good times on the tennis courts would not be too much for the mother of three children.
