Kate Middleton and Prince William continue to invest in the causes close to their hearts. While they have made mental health one of their priorities, the Cambridges visited this Thursday, May 13, The Way Youth Zone, a center that works for the well-being of young Britons. Located in the city of Wolverhampton, it welcomes members aged between 8 and 19 to offer them psychological support through coaching and listening sessions, or various activities whether intellectual, sports or still creative. It was as part of a special mental health awareness week organized in the United Kingdom that the parents of George, Charlotte and Louis met the managers of this establishment, created in 2016, with whom they discussed at length about ‘a lunch. Very complicit and very smiling as usual, the Cambridges did not hesitate to give of their person by taking part in the various activities offered by the staff of the center in the company of the children who were more than delighted.
According to the photos captured during this visit, Kate and William also seem to have had a great time in contact with young people. Gardening, archery, table tennis, football … the least we can say is that the program was very busy. Carla Priddon, director of The Way, was delighted with the visit of the future King and Queen of England: “We were delighted to be able to welcome Their Royal Highnesses to The Way Youth Zone and to talk to them about some of the ways we help children and youth improve their mental health and well-being. It was a privilege to show the Duke and Duchess around and allow them to participate in a mind-mapping activity with the youth and to help plant fruits and vegetables in our garden. ”
