From June 2 to 5, the Platinum Jubilee festivities of Queen Elizabeth II of England took place.
On June 4, her great-granddaughter Lilibet celebrates her first birthday.
Meghan and Harry invited Kate and William to Lilibet’s birthday with their children.
Prince William and Kate Middleton, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, had to decline the invitation.
The Cambridges did not attend the garden party on Saturday June 4, 2022 hosted by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. On June 4, little Lilibet Diana actually blows out her first candle. To celebrate his first birthday, Prince Harry, 37, and Meghan Markle, 40, invited a few close friends and family members. According to a Page Six source, Prince William, 39, his wife Kate Middleton, 40, and their three children were invited to Lilibet’s birthday party. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were conspicuously absent from this sneaky picnic in the backyard of Frogmore Cottage. In addition, the Sussexes flew discreetly to California before the end of the Jubilee.

Kate Middleton and Prince William were unable to attend their niece Lilibet’s garden party. The reason for this is that the couple were miles away from Frogmore Cottage on June 4. “They had a royal engagement in Cardiff with George and Charlotte, while Louis stayed at home,” says The Mirror. Kate Middleton, 40, and Prince William, 39, were at Cardiff Castle as part of celebrations for the 70th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II of England, 96. According to Page Six, this invitation was “like an olive branch” intended to relax the atmosphere between the “two enemy brothers”.
