Prince William and Kate Middleton are both sports lovers.
Challenged at a fitness center, the couple ride ellipticals.
The race trophy goes to Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales.
Kate and William, Princess and Prince of Wales, revisit Wales on February 28, 2023. Shortly after receiving their title last September, the royal couple had previously visited the region. This time, Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton, both 41, were treated to a morning of laughter. But above all, Kate and William clashed in a pedaling duel. Among other daytime visits on Tuesday, February 28, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took a trip to the Aberavon Fitness Center in the town of Port Talbot.
The mum and dad of Princes George and Louis, and Princess Charlotte, competed in a virtual endurance challenge on an elliptical trainer. The aim is to “see who could cover the greatest distance in just 45 seconds uphill in the Italian Dolomites”, as detailed in the BBC News article. “Sorry to have ruined your cycling lesson,” announced Prince William to the men present in the room before throwing to his wife, joking: “You are wearing high heels!”.
Kate Middleton: Princess of Wales wins the race and wanted to add even more speed
For her outing on February 28, Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales, bet on a cream top, a Zara plaid skirt and black Gianvito Rossi boots. “I’m not sure I’m dressed for this,” Kate Middleton said before accepting the challenge. It was the Princess of Wales who still won the “Tour of Aberavon” trophy by beating her husband, Prince William. During the virtual race, Catherine Kate Middleton even adjusted her gears and asked while laughing: “Can I go harder?”. Out of breath, Prince William said, “We’ll talk to you in a minute” jokingly.
