If some find the Crocs to be outdated and represent the pinnacle of anti-fashion, Justin Bieber sees him much further. Long neglected for years, the Crocs have made a nice comeback in the fashion sphere, and have taken over the fashion world for several seasons. First seen on Christopher Kane’s Spring / Summer 2017 show, then at Balenciaga, they went from being ugly and comfortable shoes to being fashion sizes. On many occasions, Justin Bieber has just displayed himself with Crocs on his feet, no offense to the haters. And recently the singer decided to collaborate with the brand.
In early October, Justin Bieber teased this unexpected collaboration idea, posting a photo where we can see a pair of yellow Crocs in a swimming pool. “Soon”, can we read in the caption. A few days later, the 26-year-old announced the idea behind all this mystery: the Crocs X Justin Bieber with drew collaboration. Drew House being the ready-to-wear brand that Justin Bieber launched in January 2019. So what does this famous pair of shoes look like? Entitled “Classic Clog”, the pair of Crocs are yellow, that same iconic yellow of Drew House of course.
Attention, limited edition
On his pair of shoes, Justin Bieber has designed eight personalized “jibbitz” pendants “that reflect the good vibes and relaxed style of Justin Bieber,” says Crocs. “As an artist, I find it important that my designs stay true to myself and my style,” Justin Bieber said in a statement. And continued: “I wear Crocs all the time, so it was only natural that I would design my own pair. With these Crocs, I just focused on creating something cool, a style that I would like to wear.” Notice to interested parties, the pair of Crocs, produced in limited edition, will be marketed on October 13 at a price of 59.99 dollars, or about 51 euros, in particular on the e-shops of Crocs and Drew House.
