Key host of the American media landscape, Jimmy Fallon was not going to miss the opportunity to celebrate the seven years of his show, the Tonight Show. Covid requires, the former Saturday Night Live could not organize a party on the plateau, so he had to be satisfied with a photo on Instagram. In this shot, we see him in the middle of a lot of balloons with his two daughters, Winnie and Frances, aged six and seven respectively. Caption Jimmy Fallon: “A lot can happen in seven years. Thanks for having me in your living rooms and on your phones. I’m celebrating the Tonight Show anniversary with my favorite co-hosts!”
The legend chosen by Jimmy Fallon is far from trivial since during the year 2020, his daughters appeared several times in the Tonight Show. In the spring of 2020, the confinement imposed on the United States prevented the filming of the show, Jimmy Fallon therefore had to record from home. The host tried to isolate himself in a room of his house but it was wasted effort: his little daughters interrupted several of his interviews, under the astonished gaze of his guests. We will especially remember the time his daughter Winnie landed in the middle of an interview with quarterback Russel Wilson and singer Ciara to announce that she had lost a tooth!
A first for Jimmy Fallon on February 17, 2014
Jimmy Fallon has therefore adapted and fully integrated his daughters into his show. They have appeared several times, to draw pictures or to play music, to the delight of viewers who greatly appreciated seeing one of their favorite animators in their daily lives. The latter replaced Jay Leno as host of The Tonight Show on February 17, 2014 and has now established himself as one of the essential personalities of the NBC channel and of American television in general. With the relaxation of health restrictions across the Atlantic, the Tonight Sow is once again taking place on the plateau, but we hope to see Winnie and Frances again on the air!
